Position Overview:
As a Security Technician at Ras Security Pte Ltd, you will play a key role in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. You will work closely with our clients to assess their security needs and provide tailored solutions using the latest technology in the industry. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and alarm systems.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine the most effective placement and configuration of security equipment.
- Test and troubleshoot security systems to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Provide technical support and assistance to clients, including training on the use of security systems and troubleshooting advice.
- Collaborate with other team members and external contractors to ensure timely completion of installation projects and maintenance tasks.
- Stay abreast of advancements in security technology and industry trends, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to meet clients' evolving needs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including equipment inventory, service logs, and documentation of technical procedures.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing installation and maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in security systems installation and maintenance.
- Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting CCTV cameras, access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and alarm systems.
- Strong technical skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Customer-focused approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid Class 3 driving license preferred.
- Flexibility to work outside normal business hours and travel to client sites as needed.
