Position Overview:

As a Security Command Centre Operator at Ras Security Pte Ltd, you will be responsible for monitoring and operating our state-of-the-art security command centre. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises by actively monitoring security systems, responding to alarms, and coordinating with security personnel and external stakeholders as needed. This role requires keen attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarms, to detect and respond to security incidents promptly.
  • Operate and manage security software and systems to maintain accurate records of security activities and incidents.
  • Respond to alarms and alerts in a timely manner, coordinating with security personnel and relevant stakeholders to address security breaches or threats.
  • Communicate effectively with security officers, clients, law enforcement agencies, and emergency services to coordinate responses to security incidents.
  • Conduct routine checks and tests of security equipment and systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate records of security incidents, including incident reports, shift logs, and documentation of actions taken.
  • Follow established protocols and procedures for security operations, including emergency response procedures and escalation protocols.
  • Provide support and assistance to security personnel and clients as needed, including relaying information and instructions during security incidents.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in security operations or a related field.
  • Proficiency in operating security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarm monitoring software.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely in both written and verbal form.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, with the capacity to make quick and effective decisions during security incidents.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Familiarity with security protocols, procedures, and best practices.
  • Valid Security Officer License issued by the Singapore Police Force.
